Visit from Grandma Janet and Aunt Renae/Scarlett/Cheryl... Whatever Her Name Is

My sister and Mom came down to sunny SoCal during Renae's Spring Break.  It was a pretty last minute decision and Renae has fake-surprised me into thinking she was at my doorstep before, so I was cautiously excited.
She really came, and they did all of us a favor and flew into Long Beach Airport, which is worth the extra pennies to avoid LAX traffic and the 10 minute commute to our house.  We spent a lot of our time basking in the sun at the hot tub, eating snacks, and catching up.  It was so great.

Mother's beach in Long Beach, no waves, so great for little people to swim in; although the water/weather in May was still a little cool for us to stay in there long. The park and the beach was beautiful.
 We Love Waffle Luv

We hit up a day in Disneyland together. The young cynical adults spent most of it discussing why it was not that exciting for the price and how you spend most of your time waiting in lines, but, when in Anaheim!!!

The best part was when the kids went home to sleep and we attended with just the adult women.  A little sad, but true. We only went on three rides in four hours, but my mom is a really good sport and finds the silver lining in everything. The park was beautiful at night We walked through some stores, she bought a Disney Villains lanyard and some cool pins, and we caught a glimpse of the water show before we left.

Favorite ride I think.  Adrenaline junkies right here.

We overestimated how hot Southern Cali weather is and forgot that it gets rather cool at night (LOVE!) so we had to buy some CVS merch. Renae bought that blue long sleeve shirt and called it good.  She's has Montana body temperature now, so she didn't need much.

DISNEYLAND!!!! Waiting an insufferable amount of time for Indiana Jones, and we even had fast passes.  BUT WE HAD A CAMERA!!

I decided to tack on a few more of our Disney pictures from our prior visit down below.  We won't be back for awhile, so...thanks for the memories.
